Africa Safari Lake Natron

Africa Safari Lake Natron, situated on the edge of Lake Natron, is a safari lodge offering easy access to the Northern Circuit national parks and reserves. Here you will find a dramatic lava desert terrain, together with a high alkaline lake in a depression created by the Rift Valley.

The grounds are spacious and offer a variety of accommodation options, ranging from simple Safari tents to the ultimate in Glamping luxury.

The Safari tents are simple and offer the same beautiful views of the mineral-rich ‘soda’ lake that sometimes turns a mesmerising pinkish-red. Safari Comfort bungalows are large and comfortable, with air-conditioning, brick walls, a concrete floor and a permanent ensuite bathroom. The air-conditioned Luxury Glamping tents are built on a raised wooden deck and feature a beautiful rustic wooden interior.

The swimming pool, with sunbeds and umbrellas, offers a beautiful view of the neighbouring Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai, a still active, unique and intriguing volcano. The perfect spot for relaxing, sunbathing and taking in the magnificent scenery.

The reception, restaurant and bar area are elevated, making this the perfect vantage point from which to take in the lake, the striding giraffes, galloping zebras and, of course, the volcano.
