The African savanna unfolds beneath you as the balloon gently lifts off the ground. The tranquillity of the early morning, interrupted only by the occasional roar of the balloon’s burners, makes this a serene and idyllic experience. You’ll float above herds of antelopes and gazelles grazing on the plains, elephants wandering along well-worn paths, and perhaps even catch sight of a lion returning from a night’s hunt.

Our skilled pilots use the winds for direction to navigate the skies, making each balloon flight a unique experience. They’ll take you soaring to greater heights for an expansive landscape view and then drift lower to offer close-up views of the wildlife below. Your guide will also point out features of the terrain and provide insights into the behaviour of the animals you spot from above.

About an hour into the flight, the balloon begins its descent. Our ground crew is ready to greet you on landing and celebrate your successful flight. This is followed by a traditional champagne toast, a customary celebration dating back to the early days of balloon flight.
